Something ancient lies below.

A forgotten Alpha world, buried alive under your Overworld. Silent, skyless, and untouched by time.

Fabric Forge

What if the old world never left?

You don't need a portal. You just need to dig deep enough. Punch through the mysterious stone in the bedrock layer and fall into a dimension frozen in 2010.

The Seamless Descent

Fully compatible with Immersive Portals. No loading screens. Aligned mysterious-stone shafts pierce through the bedrock — dig through one and look down into the void. The Overworld and Alpha are vertically stacked.

Frozen in Time

Alpha terrain generation with authentic Perlin noise, worm caves, Alpha fast-lighting, and the original C418 soundtrack. Classic textures on every block, no biome tinting — exactly how it looked in 2010.

Classic Alpha forest terrain at perpetual midnight

The Far Lands Return

Travel 12,550,821 blocks from spawn and witness the breakdown of logic. The genuine integer overflow terrain generating exactly as it did back then. Configurable distance via config.

Echoes of Past Players

Brick pyramids, abandoned dev houses with loot, scattered campsites, obsidian monoliths. Traces of activity, but no one is home. Rare item remains from long-dead adventurers.

Rubies, Unearthed

Mojang's never-shipped ruby concept, restored as Alpha-exclusive content. Mine ruby ore deep underground, craft a full tool set and armor — stronger than iron, just shy of diamond. With JEI integration for recipes.

Classified / Opt-In

The Anomalies

Disabled by default. For those who seek the true anxiety of early Minecraft. Every system is independently toggleable.

The Lost Voyager

Subtle Herobrine-style presence. Operates on indirect observation — no jumpscares. Builds escape towers (without success), accepts offerings, leaves signs with cryptic messages. Will offer aid when you're desperate. Three stages of escalation tied to your time in the dimension.

Config: voyagerEnabled

2Char Phenomenon

A Far Lands boundary glitch. Distant blank silhouette with stiff, wrong movement. Only appears after 15 minutes in the Alpha dimension, farther from spawn. Leaves behind block anomalies — chopped logs, misplaced blocks, narrow tunnels — and low rumbles.

Config: 2charEnabled

Environmental Horror

False Presence events shift the world around you — torches appear and vanish, doors toggle, furnaces light themselves, distant campfire smoke where there's no camp. Plus the Almost Normal House: a procedural cabin that's just... slightly wrong.

Config: horrorMode
